Calendar Briefing ("the app") delivers a daily briefing notification based on your calendar events. This policy explains what the app collects and how it is used.

1. Information We Collect

The app does not collect directly identifying information such as your name, email address, phone number, or postal address, and requires no account registration.

2. How We Use It

• To compose a briefing summarising your calendar events
• To deliver that briefing as a notification at your chosen time
• To let you review past briefings in the app
• To diagnose errors and improve service quality
• To deliver advertising and measure its performance

Briefings are composed by rule-based logic on our server; no generative AI model is involved. Your calendar content is never used for advertising and is never shared with advertising providers. We do not sell your information.

3. Retention

• Raw calendar events are not stored. They are held in memory only while the briefing is composed, then discarded.
• Generated briefings are retained for 30 days and deleted automatically thereafter. A briefing may contain some event details, such as event titles.
• Device identifier, push token, and preferences are retained while you use the service.

4. Sharing and Processors

We do not sell or share your information with third parties. We rely on the following providers to operate the service.

5. Advertising

The app may display advertising. Advertising providers use your device's advertising identifier to serve relevant ads and measure their performance. Your calendar content is never used for this purpose.

• Android: Reset or delete your advertising ID under Settings > Google > Ads.
• iOS: Decline app tracking requests under Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

6. Your Choices

• Revoke permissions: You can turn off calendar and notification access in your device settings at any time. Briefing generation stops when you do.
• Delete your data: Uninstalling the app removes locally stored data, though the device identifier may persist so your settings can be restored if you reinstall. To have briefings and settings stored on our server deleted, email us at the address below.
• Request access: You may request a copy of the information we hold.

7. Security

• All traffic between the app and our server is encrypted with HTTPS (TLS).
• Our database runs on a network that is not directly exposed to the public internet.
• We collect only what the service needs to function.

8. Children's Privacy

This service is not directed to children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

9. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, we will post the updated version and its effective date on this page.
